Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Print Coye Technology (HK) Co., Limited ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Block Surge: Block Puzzle mobile application (the "App"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Block Surge does not require an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, or phone number to play. Your photos never leave your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be explicit about this first, because it is the part players ask about most often:
- We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, or phone number.
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- We never upload your photos. When you use a photo as a custom block skin, that photo is selected through Apple's system photo picker, processed on your device, and stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
- We do not access your contacts, microphone, location, or health data.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:
- Game progress, scores, and saved games
- Settings such as theme, sound, music, and haptics preferences
- Shard balance, unlocked prop packs, and celebration sets
- Photos you have chosen to use as custom block skins
- Daily Challenge streak and completion records
You can erase all of this data at any time using the reset-all-data option in Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.
3. Advertising and Advertising Identifiers
Block Surge is free to play and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC, to serve banner, interstitial, and rewarded video advertisements.
To serve advertisements, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- Your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), if you grant permission (see below)
- Device information such as device model, operating system version, language, and coarse region
- Advertising interaction data, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
- IP address, which Google may use to infer approximate location
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On first launch, iOS will ask whether you allow Block Surge to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. This is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use your IDFA to show you personalized advertisements.
- If you decline, you will still see advertisements, but they will be non-personalized and will not use your IDFA.
Declining does not restrict any gameplay feature. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Removing advertisements
A one-time in-app purchase, "Remove Ads Forever," permanently removes banner and interstitial advertisements. Optional rewarded videos remain available for players who choose to watch them in exchange for in-game rewards.
Google's own policies
Google's handling of data collected through AdMob is governed by Google's own policies, which we encourage you to read:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- AdMob and privacy
4. Diagnostic and Usage Data
We may receive aggregated, non-identifying diagnostic information, including crash reports and basic product interaction data (for example, how often a particular game mode is started). This information is used solely to fix bugs and improve the App. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.
If you have enabled sharing of analytics with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may also provide us with anonymized crash and usage reports. You can control this in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
5. Apple Game Center
If you choose to use Game Center features, your Game Center nickname and your scores are submitted to Apple so that they can appear on global leaderboards, and your achievement progress is stored by Apple. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. You may play the entire game without signing in to Game Center; if you are not signed in, only local scores are kept on your device.
6. In-App Purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Apple provides us only with a transaction receipt that confirms whether a purchase was completed. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:
| Recipient | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (AdMob, UMP) |
Serving advertisements and managing consent | IDFA (with permission), device and ad interaction data, IP address |
| Apple Inc. (App Store, Game Center) |
Payment processing, leaderboards, crash reporting | Transaction receipts, Game Center nickname and scores, anonymized diagnostics |
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.
8. International Transfers
We are based in Hong Kong. Our service providers, including Google and Apple, operate globally and may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data originating in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred outside those regions, our providers rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your Rights in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to you.
Legal bases for processing
| Processing activity | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Personalized advertising using your IDFA | Your consent, Article 6(1)(a), collected through the Google UMP consent form |
| Non-personalized advertising | Legitimate interests in funding a free game, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Crash reports and basic diagnostics | Legitimate interests in maintaining a functioning app, Article 6(1)(f) |
| Processing your in-app purchase | Performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) |
Consent management
Players in the EEA and the UK are shown a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized advertising is enabled. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by opening Settings › Privacy Options inside the App.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, to request its correction or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to data portability. Because we do not maintain accounts and hold almost no data that can identify you, in most cases the fastest way to exercise erasure is to reset your data in Settings or delete the App. For any other request, contact us at printcoye@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
10. Your Rights in California and Other U.S. States
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the use of advertising identifiers for personalized advertising may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or turn off tracking at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Exercising this right will not degrade your experience; you will simply see non-personalized ads.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out, and we do not knowingly discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights. Residents of other U.S. states with comparable privacy laws may exercise equivalent rights by contacting us.
11. Children's Privacy
Block Surge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is rated for older audiences because it contains third-party advertising and in-app purchases.
Parents and guardians can restrict in-app purchases and limit advertising tracking using Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy features. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at printcoye@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
12. Data Retention
Game data stored on your device is retained until you reset it or delete the App. We do not operate servers that store player profiles. Data held by Google and Apple is retained according to their own retention policies.
13. Security
Because gameplay data and your photos remain on your device, they are protected by iOS's own security and sandboxing. Network communication with advertising services uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this website.
